On-device play

CrocoCross runs on your device. It contains no advertising, tracking or third-party analytics SDK and has no developer-operated game server. No separate CrocoCross account is required. We do not receive automatic gameplay or usage reports from the app.

Local information

The app stores sound preferences, haptic settings, rider/world choices and local best scores. It may store pending Game Center submissions with the original app-scoped player identifier, leaderboard, result and competition period. Pending entries are removed when accepted by GameKit; expired weekly entries are discarded when the queue is processed. Signing out does not reassign scores to another player.

Current rides are held only in memory and are abandoned when you return Home or leave the app. CrocoCross has no cloud-save service. Device backups may include app data according to your Apple backup settings.

Optional Apple Game Center

When Game Center is connected, the app reads your game-specific player identifier and display name, and sends eligible scores, times and supporting run context to Apple. It does not request your contacts or friends list and does not receive your Apple Account password. A device already signed in to Game Center may connect automatically.

Apple operates Game Center under its own policies. Your nickname, avatar and leaderboard results may be visible to other players according to Apple’s settings. See Game Center & Privacy. Offline and guest runs are not uploaded retrospectively.

Choices and deletion

You can play offline. Manage Game Center sign-in and sharing in your device’s Settings > Game Center. Deleting CrocoCross removes this installation’s local settings, records and pending submissions; offloading the app keeps its data. Existing device backups and information already held by Apple are managed separately. Deleting the app does not erase Game Center information.

Permissions and timing

CrocoCross does not request camera, microphone, location or contacts access. Preferences use device storage. Elapsed-time measurements support effects, haptics and physics timing; they are not used to identify you or sent to a server by CrocoCross.

If you email support@lafayette-consulting.us, Lafayette Consulting receives your email address and the information you choose to provide to respond to your request. Email is handled by the relevant mail providers. Please send only information needed for your question, and never send passwords or verification codes. For access or deletion questions about your correspondence, contact the privacy address above.

This website

These static pages are hosted by GitHub Pages and have no analytics scripts, advertising or tracking cookies added by us.
